Charge (2023)
Project Type
Performance
Performance CHARGE is a source of electromagnetic field, controlled and monitored by both artists. These can be negatively charged electrons, positively charged protons, as well as both positive and negative ions (electric 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘨𝘦). The aim of the performance is to surprise the audience with an unexpected twist (𝘵𝘰 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘨𝘦: to attack), but the audience’s task is not to accuse the artists (𝘵𝘰 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘨𝘦: to accuse), but to overcome fear, because often, what is seen and heard is not as scary as it seems at first. The performers toy with dominance, who has greater power (𝘪𝘯 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘨𝘦: in command). The communicative performance of movement and sound allows one to reflect on time, space, and the surrounding events (𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘨𝘦𝘥: saturated). We pause the moment and experience it (𝘵𝘰 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘨𝘦: to gain and store energy), before moving on to the next. Obviously, at a price (𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘨𝘦: fee).
